CPAR is the first international academic journal specifically addressing the issues of Chinese public administration. Its objectives are to open an avenue for exchange ideas between Chinese scholars and scholars from other places, and to help bridge their work; develop innovative technique and encourage a wider application of those already established in Chinese public administration; present integrated analyses of theories, concepts, strategies, and techniques dealing with Chinese public administration; and stimulate research and critical thinking about the relationship between Chinese public administration practice and management theories.
CPAR address issues, such as Chinese Administrative Reform, Chinese Public Policy, Chinese Administrative Law, Public Productivity Improvement and Performance Measurement, Chinese Civil Service, Chinese Social Security, Chinese Public Finance, Chinese E-Government, the Intellectual History of Public Administration in China, Comparative Public Administration, and so forth.
At CPAR, our philosophy is that excellence in academic research is achieved by cooperating with contributors. We are committed to providing you with timely, constructive comments. The average length of time for the peer review process is less than two months. Authors of manuscripts that do not qualify for the review process are kindly notified in approximately ten days.
All qualified manuscripts are peer reviewed.
